Pontoon users please take note that the pontoon is to be disconnected from its chains and temporarily relocated alongside the wharf so that silt removal works around the pontoon (not the channel) can commence by our neighbours. The pontoon will not be able to be used during this time.
Alternative land access via the DBCYA boat ramp is possible as these works are during the spring tides. It is acknowledged that access will be restricted thus parties are working to minimise downtime.
ANTICIPATED FLOW OF WORKS:
- Members to remove their tenders from the pontoon by the evening of TUESDAY 02 JAN
- Silt removal works commence WED 03 JAN – FRI 05 JAN
- Pontoon to be relocated and reattached EITHER FRI 05 JAN (PM) OR SAT 06 JAN (AM) depending on progress made.
