The Hipshooters are an Award winning hard edged 3-piece Blues/Rock & roots band. They have played every major festival in Oz & NZ. With 4 albums, 1 Ep & 2019 #1 hit single "Broken Man". Brilliant originals & the best SRV & Jimi Hendrix covers in the southern hemisphere. Anton is the front man, singer/guitarist, with the best rhythm section in the country behind him. Billy on bass with his for-nominal walking blues riffs & the smoothest drummer you'll ever hear Grant. The guys never fail to entertain. Influenced by Jimmy Winters, Albert Collins, Stevie Ray Vaughn & Jimi Hendrix. Regulars (fan favorites) at The iconic Royal Mail (Goodna) known world wide for its fantastic blues. Even covid couldn"t stop them, co-headlining the Mitchell Creek Blues & roots festival 2020. The 1st and only live music festival, world wide at the time. 2019 the guys took over The Doo Bop Jazz Bar, blowing away the traditional jazz crowd with epic shows. The venue and audience couldn't get enough, inviting them back as many times as the guys wished to play. The Hippies were invited to headline the rejuvenation of the West End blues scene in Brisbane and once again thrilled the crowd & awakening a new generation of young blues lovers.
